La fibre élastique SSY est une fibre de filature composite côte à côte --PET, une fibre de polyester bicomposant, qui utilise le rétrécissement différent du bicomposant pour former une structure de sertissage élastique permanente.

La fibre SSY n'a presque pas d'élasticité comme le fil de polyester ordinaire avant le traitement, mais après la teinture et le lavage à haute température, elle produira une boucle permanente, ce qui rendra le tissu élastique. Il a un excellent allongement élastique et un excellent taux de récupération élastique, et cette force élastique est stable et a une bonne récupération.
